The eight surrenders, enumerated

1. The full 12 calendar days

2. The five precepts

5. Electronics surrender

6. No exercise, no contact

Exercise programs suspended. Yoga, running, strength work, stretching routines, all paused. No physical contact with anyone on site. Men and women are physically separated on different sides of the property.

7. No outside objects

Books, journals, paper, pens, rosaries, malas, crystals, talismans, religious tokens, and items associated with other practices stay with management. Anything brought in by accident gets held until the course ends.

The five precepts

Can I sit the course and skip parts of it, like the evening discourse, or work hours in my room?
